Curious cat is an abstract painting made with sumi-e ink, acrylics and acrylics paint markers. Contrasting geometric and organic shapes and lines with figurative elements it "brings back" the humane in abstract art. Inspired by Nordic contemporary art, and turn of the (20th) century painting styles (constructivism, Russian Avantgarde) the composition is rigid and playful at the same time.
