An impressionistic English moorland landscape painting inspired by the dramatic rocky cliffs of the gritstone escarpment of Curbar and Baslow Edge in the Peak district of Derbyshire England a popular cliff for rock climbers.
I have tried to convey the picturesque wild moors and remote misty atmosphere of this dramatic English countryside moorland crag scene with a dramatic stormy sky and sunlight illuminating the farmland field below.
Painted in cool blue and yellow green colours with a touch of magenta and a pink tinge in the cloudy sky..

Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
