A small moment of quiet observation reminding us that there is beauty and interest in the mundane if we slowdown and appreciate the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Original expressive oil painting of some tea and coffee cups and teaspoons, painted onto an unbleached canvas board background using Michael Harding Artist's quality Oil paints. Observational work becomes a mindful process for me when I need to slow down, and I believe this experience is also passed onto the viewer as the layers of drawing, measuring, annotation and painting remain deliberately on the surface encouraging a noticing and connection with my process as well as the subject.

Painted in 2020 on 4mm thick unbleached canvas board this painting is 20cm x 20cm. Perfect for part of a gallery wall or those 'in between spaces' :)
