On a very wet and windy day in January we drove around Buttermere in Cumbria, the road was narrow and winding , the scenery was spectacular, dark and menacing. Then the sun came out and the whole scene changed. My camera could not portray the majesty, but I have tried with the brush to capture the colour and sheer beauty of the landscape, nature in the raw.

Painted in acrylic, on a wide edged box canvas, sold unframed but side painted and ready to hang.
