Cu-27 is one of a series of three works that juxtapose the geometric and industrial aesthetics of a concrete cube with the natural organic structure of the ammonite.
It has then been further embellished with copper leaf to contrast with the muted tones of the cube. The work was then exposed to the elements to create a verdigris patina on the copper leaf.
