Original artwork description:

This painting is part of a wide series of works that were created during a period of time I spent painting my eyes. The eyes became a motif to exploring mark-making and colour, investigating was of painting and using various brush marks to explore how one can paint and use colour.

The painting responds to how and what I was seeing reflecting in my eye at the time of its inception, exploring the various shapes, forms and colours I could see.
