The picture is painted in plain air. These pines are very old, and almost every year one of them swings and falls to the ground. And I love these pines very much, I try to paint them every summer. With this picture, I tried to show the drama of the pines, how they mourn the loss of their friend.
The painting is on a gallery wrapped wooden frame, it has a wire from behind for hang.
