Cruttonstall Ancient Farmstead
Original Oil Painting on stretched canvas
The painting is on stretched, gallery-wrapped primed and gessoed canvas. The wooden stretcher is a box frame 1.5 inches deep. The painting could be framed or hung directly as it is.
Cruttonstall ancient farmstead was mentioned in the Domesday Book on the Erringden Hillside to the South of the Calder Valley. The farm is now derelict.

This painting is part of a series exploring the old farms of Yorkshire.
