Birds have always been one of my favourite things to draw - their form is full of such elegance and suit the type of markmaking I use. The marks I make through linocutting really suit how I like to capture the essence of a bird and the linear appearance of the feathers.
Birds in the corvid family as well as birds of prey are particularly appealing to me because of the sinister and serious emotion they evoke.
