This hand sculptured figure made by my partner Andy Sheppard from a single piece of clay out of the palm of his hand and fired by myself. This is the second in the series of crouching figures.
Andy particulair like to work this way without any mechanical device between himself and the ceramic.
Being more intimate in the process of making. Reflecting inner thoughts and feelings. Sympathetic with patterns of thoughts, portraying unique reality/ sensitivity, as well as a visual and tactile adventure.
