This is a view of the walled kitchen garden at Attingham Park in Shropshire UK. It was inspired by a photograph I took at the Harvest Fair in late September, just as the summer was slipping towards autumn. I'm constantly drawn to doors and archways, they represent a threshold from one space to another, one season to another or one phase of our life to another - if we are brave enough to take the step . . .

Presented in a bespoke wood frame the painting is initialed on the front and signed on the back together with the title. Ready to hang.
