Original artwork description:

"Crossing" is the second in a series of three paintings I have made that play with ideas and circumstances you may find on your journey (metaphorically speaking).
With "Crossing" there are many number of possibilities at play, when it comes to deciphering the image. My hope is that the viewer's imagination is inspired to overlay their own narrative and discover a personal connection with the artwork.

This painting has been inspired by the American abstract expressionism movement that included such artists as: Franz Kline, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko, Helen Frankenthaler and Agnes Martin.
