Original artwork description:

A new cycle of research on geometries and intersections between different materials. The idea of reconstruction of missing parts in a stone brick. Reconstructing to regenerate. The reconstructed part consists of stone flakes that like a living, organic element invade the missing parts, giving it shape again. A more irregular and living shape. A rough and lively texture that alternates and intersects with the smooth surface. A work with strong geometries where the stone brick intersects with the wooden lath, incorporating it to create a cross-shaped sculpture. The color is a light beige, which becomes more vivid and darker in the part made with flakes, while the wood is dark with coppery reflections like rust.

The sculpture has a smooth surface alternating with a surface made of limestone flakes that give the work a lively and rough texture, very natural.
