I don’t paint artworks…
In fact, I feel that I rather tell stories; mine, yours… and these stories are triggered by a remote memory, from an old rediscovered book, an obsessive tune, a poem or a game that belongs to childhood.
This painting is a personal interpretation of the story of Christopher Columbus and his voyages across the Atlantic that paved the way for the discovery of the Americas. Executed in sepia and gray tones, to better express that era, the semi-abstract painting is composed of three blocks that evoke the 3 famous caravels the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria.
CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF EUROPE, PLEASE NOTE - This piece will be delivered rolled securely in a heavy duty parcel tube (unstretched) without the stretcher frame and will not be ready to hang.
