When looking for a counterpart to the pineapple that I wanted to paint, my eyes stopped at a couple of forgotten onions with their sprouts tangled in plastic net. The characteristic pattern of a pineapple echos the typical supermarket vegetable packaging with its crisscrossing lines - textures of nature in conjuction with man-made ones

Original pastel painting, painted from life on archival sanded paper with premium quality soft pastels.
Comes flat unframed, with advice for framing and care enclosed
