This painting is part of the creation series. This series is one of my favorite. To me the mandalas represent balance, harmony and unity. They are symbolic of the universe. Trees represent life and growth. They are a symbolic of wisdom, strength, beauty, and protection.

In this series one mandala represents the sun and new beginnings. One mandala represents the moon and renewal. The tree is representative of of the continual twists and turns swirls and curves of life.

I build acrylic paints up in layers using brushes (and occasionally my fingers) to create a luminous painting that glows from within.

I use .5 deep gallery wrapped canvases and paint the edges, giving the painting a contemporary look that does not require framing. However it can be framed if you wish. Painting is ready to hang.

Paintings are signed on the front.
