Although the model was still, I could feel the movement. I wanted to keep the drawing minimal and flowing. Using hard conte-pastel the shapes were defined giving the body form and energy. The finished look is as if an etching has been done.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

NB the colour of the picture may be slightly different on your monitor/phone depending on settings.

Materials used:

black conte on off-white paper
