Original artwork description:

Sunset sometimes creates the most wonderful colour combinations. Here a warm, almost pink, glow from the setting sun was set against the cool blue shadows and the white foam of the waves. I wanted the painting to look spontaneous and fresh, so I kept my brushstrokes simple and bold and the colours bright. It is painted using acrylic paint on a deep edge canvas (so it looks good even without a frame).

Materials used:

Acrylic on deep edge canvas - no frame required
