Original artwork description:

‘Crash and Burn’ (portrait of a suicide bomber) is from my series of “The Untouchables”, subjects that must not be approached, for fear of upset or taboo. Art is free to travel anywhere in this world, without fear and retribution.
I seal each work within a glass dome, never to be touched, but observed in that moment of desperation and hatred, reducing ones belief into one of destruction of others.
Media mixed, lead, plaster and lots of shiny bits, which I piece together, in a ‘Frankenstein’ way. In order to create my artwork, I must be free to express myself, in a seemingly growing intolerant world of freedom to express oneself. Create freely or die trying….
All my works are an addition of one. I work in series, blocks of work defined by an idea followed by materials to match.
