Painted on-site on Lake Nokomis Parkway in Minneapolis. Features a large group of spring crabapple trees in full blossom in shades of red, deep magenta, and bright pink against a clear blue sky. The drama of the scene is enhanced by shadows stretching across the green grass, and small shrubs that dot the background. Light sparkles off the blossoms due to their variegated colors and thick texture created with palette knife. The canvas is stretched on 1" stretcher bars with painted sides. It is ready to hang as it is, or it may be framed if desired. A heart-warming explosion of dramatic color.
