It is a mise en abyme: a format represented in a real format. The format shown in blue reads like a sheet with one corner folded revealing its white backing. Also shown are the pieces of adhesive tape which stick the sheet together with its fold and of which we can see the effects of transparency on the colors. I found it interesting to take as a subject a support as simple as a flat plan, both realistic and abstract.
