This is a playful painting that embodies the elements of whimsy and surrealism. The composition features a collection of scallop, spiral seashells and starfish arranged in a glass candy bowl, along with a large conch shell next to it. My research into clownfish inspired me to include fan coral in the painting, as they are known to swim amongst various types of coral. I was surprised to learn that clownfish are only 4-4.5 inches in length. The colorful hues of fan coral add to the overall vibrant theme of the piece.
