This dynamic and lively painting was done at the start of the second peak in covid-19 cases in the UK. It was a time of great uncertainty over what the future rules would be over socialising. Phil painted this to reflect the mixed emotions of joy of being alive, a feeling of being very lucky and also some trepidation about the future.
It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. More paint added directly to the canvas and allowed to move under gravity.
