This was a painting I made as part of a mural project in the town hall in Alcester in Warwickshire. The court Leet as a group that has existed for hundreds of years looking after various matters in the town. The ceremonial dress is wonderful to paint with so many lacy frills and bright red material. This is a picture of the member in charge of the gardens
