Country Lane is based on a lane in Hampshire, England, near where I used to live.

I have tried to capture the strength of light as it finds its way between the trees. I have looked at the canopy of trees over the lane, and how the light comes through the leaves. The colours are bright and strong. Slightly exaggerated from "normal" colours to emphasize the bright warmth of a summers day.

This is painted impressionist style with many overlaid layers of acrylic paint.

It comes with an ivory mount and backboard. All you have to do is choose a frame to suit your decor. It takes a standard 16 x 20 inch frame that you can easily buy ready made.
