Original artwork description:

This Gal, seated on the ground, was inspired by Danish Artist Bjorn Winblaad; a brilliant Illustrator and Painter whose Charmingly Vintage Characters are favorites of mine. Reflecting about some time I’ll be spending soon in the French Provincial Countryside, lent inspiration for the setting. It was my desire to keep the palette narrowed to mainly Blues and Greens, for a change. The edges of this canvas are painted, so that the painting can be hung unframed.
