Original artwork description:

A slight departure from my usual blue seascapes.
Cottages at Carbost depicts a few small cottages in the small Hamlet of Carbost on the Isle of Skye as I remember them one sunny afternoon in late summer.
Quite a colourful painting for me really and intend next to do a series of cottage paintings as It is something I have enjoyed.
I painted this scene using acrylic paint with some gloss medium and finished it with a coat of protective gloss varnish.
