I was struck by the Cotswold Stone so prevalent in the villages I visited on a recent trip to England. I love the honey hued glow it creates, bathing everyday objects in light. No wonder the Cotswolds region is prized for its charm. This particular pub window has seen untold fall afternoons, like the day we visited. This painting captures the romance of the region.
