Inspired by the 2024 British Cycling National Championship races, these limited variable edition prints shows the women cyclists on the descent from Brotton just before the steep climb up Saltburn Bank, ("une côte" is often used in cycling to describe an incline or a hillside).
It is an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image. These linocut prints are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube.
