The present work is part of a project to recover the essence of the beauty and richness of the Portuguese cultural heritage.
It translates the need to return to our origins, to the important values of human beings, humility, honesty, respect, solidarity, strength, love and hope.
In this work are mixed some details and elements that compose some Portuguese costumes, appearing some characteristic elements like the hearts, the flowers, the threads of gold, hearts of filigree, the ondular of the bars of the skirts.
All these elements combine in a composition with materials such as acrylic, pieces of oil, spray, fabric, lace, newspaper clippings, pastel details and notes, graphite and charcoal drawing, transporting history and tradition on a trip to Contemporaneity.
