This watercolor depicts the bud of a blossoming rose.
Each flower is like a universe. So with the deep dark blue background, I wanted to convey the vastness of the cosmos.
The life of flowers is so short and so amazingly beautiful, it fascinates and inspires to catch this feeling on the sheet, capturing it in my sketches.
