Original artwork description:

I never cease to be lured and inspired by the sight of the moon. It transports me into a zone of magic and mystery. But it amazes me how quickly I seem to forget its existence as soon as it disappears from view. This makes me realise how limited our reality is if based purely on that which we can see...this painting depicts that which we can't.

I wanted to create a sensation of energy waves binding humanity and the earth, a depiction of invisible forces that link 'all that is' into a whole. Painted using watercolour techniques (leaving the white of the paper rather than painting opaque white on top of other paint colours) this composition took many hours to bring together.
