This semi-figurative large watercolor artwork represents an abstract perception of increasing energy. "Cosma", this lady in the sky, -or in the deep sea?-, is flying, or floating, in a state of oneness like in a deep meditation while kind of "embracing" the universe and opening herself up.
The painting was created in nature near the Riviera Coast, so the splendid panorama of the turquoise endless sea inspired the artist, while contemplating about subtle energies in nature and within the body.
Goedeke is inspired by a variety of Asian Traditions, like Indian Dance and Thai Chi, which sees the physical perception as a potential gate for spiritual development.
