Amazing sunset painting from the north Cornwall coast.
16" x 16" oil on canvas this palette knife painting was inspired by a visit to Priests Cove following a week on the Poldark Coast in north Cornwall enjoying the beautiful coastline and rocky seascapes.

I have spent many hours painting on the beach, absorbing sight and sound of the sea; immersing myself in the environment, getting to know the landscape, the colours. Sketching and plein air painting are an essential part of my process.

The painting was made in my studio and uses artists quality oil on ready made canvas 16"x 16". It is a palette knife painting in my typical impasto style (i.e. you will see the texture of the paintwork).
It comes varnished and is mounted in a white wood floater frame fitted with eyes and cord so is ready to hang.
