Original artwork description:

A new bright and colorful abstract watercolor called "Cornish Sea". This painting is an abstraction about the colors and views I had walking the Coastal Path in Cornwall. You find lots of colors in Cornwall, sunset, clouds, spray, mist, waves, heather.... it is a mixture of phantastic light and atmosphere.

Also, this painting is influenced by visiting a Patrick Heron exhibition in the Tate Gallery, St. Ives. There I learned a lot about the importance of corners and edges and right now I am giving more attention to these aspects of an abstract painting and here you can find lots of interesting details in the corners.

18x26 cm on Arches paper 300g, W&N Watercolors and little gouache used.

The photos show the artwork in progress, different framing examples and the sheet of paper as it comes, ready to be taken to your local framers where you can choose the best option of framing this vibrant colorful work!

The painting will come unframed, signed on the back. A square frame would also look great, the best will be to take it to the framers and discuss the size of mat and frame!
