When I'm not walking along the coast path in Cornwall, I like to go inland to walk on the moors. A particular favourite place is Bodmin Moor in East Cornwall. The old mining engine houses are a feature here among the grass and bracken. This painting features Wheal Jenkin with winter grasses and seedheads in the foreground picked out in bronze and copper.
This is acrylic and inks on board, varnished and framed in a white-painted wooden frame. Strung on the back and ready to hang.
