I grew up in Polperro, a small fishing village in South East Cornwall and remain fascinated by these small harbours, nestling in natural bays at the foot of the steep hills. Here cobb cottages climb the hill behind the rough harbour walls. One last boat waits on the tide.

Acrylic on canvas. Varnished. Sides painted white. Strung on the back and ready to hang.

48cm x 48cm x 3.5cm
