Original artwork description:

A new bright and colorful abstract watercolor called "Cornish Dream". This painting is an abstraction about the colors and views I had walking the Coastal Path in Cornwall. You find lots of colors in Cornwall, sunset, clouds, spray, mist, waves, heather.... it is a mixture of phantastic light and atmosphere.

Also, this painting is influenced by visiting a Patrick Heron exhibition in the Tate Gallery, St. Ives. There I learned a lot about the importance of corners and edges and right now I am giving more attention to these aspects of a painting and here you can find lots of interesting details in the corners.

31x41 cm on Arches paper 300g, W&N Watercolors and little metallic pigments used, so little spots in the painting might sparkle when hit by sunlight, just as nature does.

The painting will come unframed, signed on the back. A square frame would also look great, the best will be to take it to the framers and discuss the size of mat and frame!
