Original artwork description:

Contemporary view of the Cornish countryside.

Across the estuary. This tranquil hill slopes gently down to Restronguet Creek.
The soft blue sky above, the distant fields and sweeping land all contribute to this peaceful oil painting. Pale bluey green hills in the background, green and ochre land in the midground. The eye is lead gently forward by the zigzagging flow of grasslands.
All painted in expressive and textured oil paint, on fine stretched linen.

Ready to hang.

Please note: in certain lights (see last photgraph), the gestural brushstrokes of the sky are visable (with the light falling on the artwork, these show quite dramatically, and move as you walk past the painting), capturing the movement of the passing clouds.

Painted in oil on a stretched, Italian linen canvas.

Signed on the rear and Certificate of Authenticity provided.
