The pose has angles to it, as does the style of drawing. Using the edges of the conte pastel accentuates an angular joint and features.

Hard black conte pastel makes the lovely lines when using the edge. The positioning of the drawing means it can be shown in different shapes - create a mount to give a square of paper around the drawing or stick with a rectangle, however before you cut the paper.

There is a bonus ... on the reverse/vecto there is a second drawing in which is in full colour. Bold and brassy. Full and reubenesque. If the paper is not cut, with careful handling and mounting you could switch to the other side every few months! Size easily sits in an A3 frame.

Created on an off-white paper 42 x 30 cm (16 x 12") so will be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing).

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.
