To create this atmospheric painting of this ancient view of Corfe Castle in Dorset UK, I covered a textured panoramic canvas completely in gold leaf squares They are about 8” square and the joints are part of the textured design. I then applied layers of acrylic paint creating this lovely sunset. The sides of the painting are finished in black so it is ready to hang.
