Painted on-site at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI. Features a peony flower of the variety named "Coral Sunset", flopping forward in the sunlight, and sparkling with variegated shades of coral, light pink, peach, and hot pink. The background is created with drips and splashes of water-based casein paint, and glazed over with oil. The flower is painted with both brush and palette knife, and the shapes of the petals are enhanced by the texture of the paint.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with an antique bronze finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
