Occasionally with abstract work I enjoy spontaneous creation. It allows me to explore and experiment without a plan. It can be frustrating but ultimately rewarding.
As I paint the images reveal themselves.

This set of five became Coral Impressions.
A coral reef is an underwater ecosystem characterized by reef-building corals.
Sometimes called rainforests of the sea,[3] shallow coral reefs form some of Earth's most diverse ecosystems. They occupy less than 0.1% of the world's ocean area. Colourful and fascinating. Beautifully textural.
