"Copper love" Acrylic/copper on canvas 80x100 cm (31*39 in) 2020 I was fascinated by ancient beliefs, and from them was born this picture as a symbol of partnership. Partnership in the good sense of the word and in the sense of "doomed to partnership." An element of the rare beauty of color and veiled subtext. Quote: "Because the Chinese word for "copper" means "together," coins made of this metal were placed in a marriage bed to provide the couple with a lasting life together. In hell, sinners must drink molten copper or, in the case of voluptuous people, dance with partners who, being in embraces, turn into red-hot copper columns."
