Original artwork description:

This small painting portrays an area near the Convent of Saint Clara in Belalcazar, Spain. The painting is a small study plein air from my time spent at the artist residency situated at the convent.

The painting seeks to capture the serenity of the area, observing the back wall of the convent and the plants that grow along side it and the small brook.

The painting uses waterbased oil paint on board and framed in a handmade box frame.

Materials used:

Waterbased Oil Paint, Greyboard, Gesso.
