Triptych. The urgency for this painting came to me when I saw the picture of my model as a child walking briskly, talking to herself. At that time I used to walk through the park of Colle Oppio in Rome, from where you have a beautiful view of the Colosseum. I wanted to set there the subject, imagining her as a very young goddess Diana, walking wrathfully and heard even far away in the mountains by young ibexes. It is one of my earliest works, and was exhibited at the Italian Pavilion (in Turin) of the "54th Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale," a special exhibition for the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy curated by Vittorio Sgarbi (2011). Catalog available free of charge along with the work (in which case the price of shipping may vary as it is a book of over 1200 pages).
