I love walking the streets of the private sector when the weather is nice. It feels like being in a small town rather than in the center of a metropolis. I've aimed to capture the complex interplay between individuality and urbanity, presenting the figure with a contemplative gaze that speaks to a shared human experience. The backdrop subtly hints at suburban uniformity, contrasting with the subject's unique essence. This painting invites you to embrace the serene yet powerful energy it radiates, infusing any space with a sense of introspection and contemporary elegance.
For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper for smoothness.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Additional framing is not required. Series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed very carefully in cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap to protect it.
