In this artwork, I've juxtaposed the timeless elegance of a poised figure with the playful curiosity embodied by two black cats. My brushstrokes in acrylic and oil dance across the canvas, capturing the contrast of soft human contours and the sleek feline forms against the bold pattern of the sofa. It's a narrative of tranquility, coexistence, and the beauty found in silent moments. This piece invites contemplation and adds an air of serene sophistication to any space. For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper for smoothness.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam, silver leaves and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Additional framing is not required. Series "Life in Avatar".
