I've always been fascinated by Hares, since my childhood growing up on a farm when they could be spotted occasionally. This painting is designed to engage the viewer and show the majesty in these animals, the title of 'Contemplation' is both a reflection of the Hare's pose and the relationship of the viewer. Painted in oil on Linen canvas on a traditional stretcher.
Now framed in a white eggshell frame (see pics).
