Original artwork description:

The inspiration for this painting called Contemplation was a trip to India, where we would often see groups of people sitting quietly in a group.
Not saying much, just contemplating, often sitting around a small open fire.
The painting started out as a landscape. However, I was not pleased with it and put it aside, until I realised it would be a good backdrop for my group of ponderers.
